What you can expect from Online Surveys
I've been there, looking for ways to make money online only to find online surveys. There are so many platforms too, it's impossible truly know what's worth your time and what's not. I can tell you from experience though that it's mostly a waste of time. Most survey sites are designed to take your responses, weigh them against certain factors and then either qualify or disqualify you from a survey. Most surveys average 20 minutes or more. Considering the disqualification rate is really high for most platforms you could end up doing 2 hours' worth of surveys and not make a single dime.
Another problem that tends to arise is payment. Say the cashout threshold is really high like 50 dollars. If it takes you 3 hours a qualify for a 1 dollar survey how long would it take you to make the threshold? You would have to do surveys for 12 hours straight just to make 4 dollars a day if you are lucky. And if you actually managed to maintain that pace you'd earn $52 dollars in 13 days. Now in my experience, that's pretty much impossible. Every survey site I've ever managed to do only gave me enough surveys that I could go for maybe 4 hours straight before I ran out of surveys for the day. Then I'd have to switch to a different service and do surveys there. Of course, if you double dipped into doing the same survey on a different platform you'd probably get banned and lose all your earnings.
The reality is most survey sites might earn you 15 bucks a month which is $0.50 cents per day. On average you'll earn even less than that. So really with a high payments threshold and high disqualification rate you might cash out every 4 to 5 months, probably even every 6 months. That's $100 dollars per year or $0.27 cents per day.
Still think surveys could be worth it?
